A delegation of Defence Society Resident Association (DSRA) headed by their President Mr. Sharfuddin Memon with Vice President Mrs. Tahira Athar and General Secretary Mr. Mansoor I. Usmani met with Mr. Muhammad Zubair, the Honorable Governor of Sindh on 21st March, 2018 at the Governor House Karachi, to seek his guidance and assistance in resolving the long standing water crisis in the DHA areas. The Governor Sindh had invited the senior officials from the concerned departments Karachi Water & Sewerage Board, Cantonment Board Clifton, Defence Housing Authority to participate to help find the workable solution. The Governor was assured that water crisis was linked with overall shortage in Karachi and tanker mafia; several measures was being taken to alleviate the situation but overall position will improve by implementing and expediting the K-4 Water Supply Scheme.
